Louie is the most beautiful, tiny, lion in the entire world. This 2-year-old, male, Pekingese has recently joined MHCR after his human mom passed away. He and some of his other Pek friends became too much for the family to handle so they sought our help in finding placement for some of their friends. Louie is crate trained, dog friendly, quiet as a mouse, and has the softest, fluffiest, lions mane. Louie is a little shy when first meeting people. Once he warms up, he’s very sweet. He follows his foster mom around from room to room and outside while doing chores. He will thrive in a multi-dog home with a fenced in yard (he hasn’t ever walked on a leash yet) that isn’t super chaotic but has plenty of love and snuggles to give. Louie is cat friendly and seems to be good with free range chickens, too!
