Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coco! Oh my gosh, let me tell you, if I wasn't at my limit, he'd be right at home with me! He is seriously a JOY! From his cocker spaniel afro to his amazing personality and big brown eyes! At his great age of just over 8 years old, he is definitely on the search for a home without kids around, he will happily go into his crate if there are the occasional kiddo visitors! Coco gets on well with other dogs and doesn't have a care in the world for cats. He's super crate-trained, and he seems to know just about everything in the books! He knows all the basic obedience skills that come with being such a good boy, and he's destined to be the ultimate companion for the right family!
Coco loves exploring-whether it's going for walks or playing in the dog park, he's decently active. But on rainy days, he's perfectly content to rest and chew on a bone.
Coco is the ideal lap companion, walking buddy, shotgun passenger, adventurer, and all-around best boy. He truly is SUCH a good boy-I can't help but repeat myself a hundred times!
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion, come meet Coco. He's ready to bring joy and adventure to his forever family!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
