My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Bennett, and I'm super sweet, cuddly, and so soft. I am pretty tired at the moment from my big road trip from New Mexico, so I have rested and slept since I got here. I enjoyed being around all the humans in the house, as I rested on the couch and slept the whole night in a comfy bed. I have shown some interest in the other dog toys and ate my dinner and breakfast really well. I have been like Velcro to my foster mommy and walked around the house everywhere with her and resting under her desk as she worked. I love sitting as close as I can to my humans and love getting pets. I will sneak in kisses to them when I can get close enough.

I'm a little scared going outside with the noises, but I do enjoy sniffing around. This house has 2 cats, and I have tried to stay away from them as I think they scare me a bit, but I've been good to go after them. I can do most stairs but the bigger ones coming downstairs have worried me and needed to be carried down each time. I'm sure with time and gaining confidence, I will do them in no time. I have been a little scared to walk with a leash and will need someone with patience to help me learn this new skill.

Every pet adopted through our careful matching service benefits from preliminary vaccinations and health care,
the relocation security of microchip identification. The adoption fee is $225-$600 for puppies and adult dog.

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)
