Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chikis the sweetie pie! We cannot get enough of her! At about 2 years old, and around 60 or so pounds, Chikis is that perfect size! Especially for cuddles, and as you can see, that is Chiki's specialty. She is the first Bull Terrier I've ever met that ADORES sticking close to her people. Whether you just got home from work, or it's your day off, she is one happy camper to take over your lap, and enjoy all the snuggles. While Chikis has spent a majority of her life bouncing to and fro rescues & shelters, and we can't really determine why! She is such a love bug, and if she could simply cling to you forever, she would. Plus, what's even better is that Chikis does amazing with other dogs! If they want to get down and play, she's just as ready! Chikis doesn't have a shy bone in her body, and there's no such thing as a stranger to her, she's essentially that type A personality bull terrier, in all honesty. BUT she does have the testy terrier spunk, so no cats or chickens for this girl! BUT she is dog & man's best friend. Literally. We believe she will do incredibly well in most loving homes!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
