Heidi is a shy but sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be in your arms. Heidi looks forward to finding her family that will shower her with love and attention. Heidi is puppy pad trained and may need patience with indoor/outdoor potty training. She originally came to us as a stray along with her sister Carrie. When she arrived at her spay appointment, we realized she was pregnant. Heidi was a great mother to her pups, and she is ready to find her furever home. Although Heidi came in with another dog, they did not get along, so she may prefer to soak up the attention as an only dog. To meet Heidi, please come to the shelter.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
