My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just like the time needed to paint a masterpiece, Mona Lisa (aka "Sweetie") will take a little extra time to warm up to you. She is both beautiful and timid, but she does offer soft meows and plenty of leg rubs. She even likes gentle petting and cheek rubs here and there, and likes to hang out nearby, sometimes purring and making biscuits. She is affectionate once she settles in and will explore her new surroundings with caution. She also enjoys wand toy play and tries to scratch on her scratcher. Unfortunately, Mona Lisa was declawed (front paws) before coming to the shelter. She is looking for an indoor-only home and wants to be the only four-legged friend in her new home (no other cats or dogs). This beautiful lady would do best in a calm, quiet household with a patient guardian who understands her. She really is a Sweetie, it just takes her a little time to show it!
