Rosa has a lovely disposition. She has a lot of energy but interacts appropriately with humans and dogs. While she rarely jumps up, even when excited, she is a heavy puller on the leash because she wants to gallop and run rather than enjoy a nice trot or fast walk. She can be pretty docile once she has expended some of her energy.
She is calm and conservative in handling and shows no signs of stress. Rosa is curious about her environment and enjoys sniffing around, which can be redirected to focus on the person wanting to interact with her. She loves all kinds of toys, especially plush stuffed animals.
Rosa is familiar with a few behavioral cues such as `sit,` `wait,` and `come.` While she didn`t give us many opportunities to redirect her, I believe she would respond well to direction if given clear guidance. Although she may not fully understand cues like `off,` `stop that,` or `no,` she would likely catch on quickly if shown what is expected of her.
Some objects initially made her anxious, but she recovered quickly. Her stroller took a little longer for her to adjust to when it was being unfolded and moved around. The kid`s toys made her hyper, and she wanted to play tug with them. I observed no signs of resource guarding; she allowed me to pet her, play with her head, and remove resources, and she would even eat food from my hand and off my finger.
Rosa greeted a stranger appropriately without jumping or barking at the door knock. Her interactions were very suitable, and I observed that she is good with kids and dogs.
