Meet Little Guy!

A dog with lots of charm, Little Guy is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a sweet and well-mannered pup. He’s easygoing, polite, and always ready for a treat! Whether you're strolling through the neighborhood or enjoying some downtime, this guy is your ideal walking buddy—he’s great on a leash and loves a good outing.

While Little Guy can be dog-friendly, he prefers a quieter home where he’s the main focus. He’d do just fine as the only dog, though he may get along with the right canine companion given time. As for cats? We’re not sure yet, but we think he could adapt well to a feline friend with the proper introductions.

Little Guy already knows “sit,” and he's ready to learn more if you have some tasty treats on hand (he really loves them). If you're looking for a guy with a big heart, Little Guy could be your new best friend!

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, mircochipped, and heartworm negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

Our shelter is located at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo in southern lower Michigan about 20 miles north of the Ohio border.

The Greater Hillsdale Humane Society is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of companion animals in Hillsdale County, Michigan. This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
