Meet Cricket!

Cricket is a lovable, sweet kitty with a playful spirit and a big heart! While she may not be the biggest fan of being held, she absolutely adores spending time with her favorite humans and will happily greet you with a purr or a gentle nudge. Cricket is a girl who loves her independence, but she’s also got a playful side that’s sure to bring a smile to your face.

When it comes to treats and mealtime, Cricket is all in—wet food is one of her absolute favorites, and she’s quick to show her appreciation with a little happy wiggle. Her playful nature means she’s always ready to chase after a toy, pounce, or bat around something fun, making her a joy to be around.

If you're looking for a sweet, independent cat with a playful energy and a love for tasty treats, Cricket could be the perfect addition to your home!

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and FeLV-FIV negative.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
