My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apollo was training to be a service dog until he had a bad experience and is now dog reactive. Apollo MUST be an only dog and no other animals. He is doggy door trained. He has a high prey drive. Apollo does better with females then males. I'm assuming he was abused before we adopted him 4 years ago. (They said he was 2 whrn adopted but everyone agrees he is only around 4-4.5 right now). He is not one to cuddle unless it's on his terms. You can't reach over his head as he will growl. He still tries to teeth on my hand/arms and were working on correcting that. Would not little kids in the family. He can tolerate kids 8 and older but they must be calmer kiddos. Apollo went through advanced training and knows to wait before eating (I can put my hand into his food bowl while he eats). He allows my kids to feed him but does get impatient quickly. Between my MS and being out of work I don't have the time or money to really help him. So looking for a family who can. He is truly a mama's boy
