My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boh's a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he enjoys gentle pets and attention on his own terms. His sweet nature and unique markings make him a charming little companion for someone willing to put in a little extra work and the time and space he needs to feel comfortable.

He comes as a package deal with his sister who helps him brave the big world around them.

Ideal home: a calm environment with someone patient who understand his shy demeanour. Preferably with no other animals or children or a older cat who can show him the world isn't so scary, he will thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of love and encouragement.

If you're looking for some furry friends to bond with over time, Boh and Ponyo might just be the perfect match!

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.

Our Mission:

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its 36 branches located around BC and its provincial office in Vancouver, the BC SPCA provides a wide range of services for more than 53,000 homeless, abused, and abandoned animals around the province. The BC SPCA was created under the auspices of the provincial Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, and is the only animal welfare organization in BC which has the authority to enforce laws relating to animal cruelty and to prepare cases for Crown Counsel for the prosecution of individuals who inflict suffering on animals.
