Meet Goldie, the senior special needs Golden Retriever with a heart of gold!
It`s #AdoptASeniorPetMonth and 10-year-old Goldie is a truly special gal. She wants nothing more than to be your best friend and cuddle up close to you or on your lap. Goldie loves to follow her humans everywhere and will nuzzle your hand with her head for pets! One of the cutest things she does is that she will pick up her toys and show them to you while wagging her tail!
Goldie’s new family should be ready to provide for her extensive medical needs no matter now much time she has left. Goldie is a senior dog with some special needs specifically kidney disease, skin conditions, and a hooded vulva. She will require a prescription diet and will need daily hygienic care. Adopters should know that Goldie is well potty trained but does occasionally leak.
Goldie will be Foster-to-Adopt to make sure she finds the right family who can give her the care she requires. Because of Goldie`s existing medical needs, it is crucial that prospective adopters already have a strong relationship with a full service veterinarian. Our staff would love to share more so potential adopters fully understand the commitment that will be required to help her live out her golden years.
Interested in this golden gal? Goldie will be available tomorrow morning can’t wait to stay by your side! Come on into our shelter to meet her today!
