Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Lincoln County Animal Shelter with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kestrel! Spayed female terrier.. dog... thing.. 36 lbs..
Leaping! Soaring! Screeching into the wide open in search of prey!
Sleek and quick, she can dart about with ease, zeroing in on any toys she sees..
Once her stuffy bloodlust is sated, she wants nothing more than to find a quiet lap to nest in, to nap, recoup, and await her next hunting session.
So majestic, so wow, so cute!
Much like a raptor, she can be pushy and loud with other dogs. So if you have a dog he better be ready to throw down with the QUEEN OF HUNTrESSeS!!
Ok look, she's a loud medium sized to dog who can be alot for another dog.
But if you have the type of dog who likes to play rough but is willing to stand up for itself THAT is the play companion Kestrel needs.
Because she is brat.
A Bratty brat.
A Bratty brat McBrattington..
Fee to adopt Kestrel is 175$

Meet Our Animals
To meet an animal at our Shelter, please make an appointment by calling 541-265-0720. One of our friendly Animal Care Specialists will work with you to find a good match for your family. Please bring all members of your family (including dogs if you are adopting another dog; dogs must also be licensed) for a socially distance appropriate meet and greet. If you rent, we will need landlord permission for the adoption.
How Do the Animals Come to Us?
Animals come to us lost as strays, surrendered by owners, or in protective custody due to abuse or neglect. We place all of our adoptable animals in homes or in the Second Chance Program (transporting to a rescue organization or another shelter), and we never euthanize animals for space. We provide extensive medical treatment, thanks to our Medical Fund, and all possible behavior modification training to give every animal their chance at a new life.
Keep Visiting Us!
If you don't find your perfect match with us right away, our Animal Care Specialists are willing to provide you with additional resources. You may also sign up for an alert through Adopt a Pet that will let you know when a new potential pet is posted.
