Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy is the epitome of an adventure buddy meets family girl. This fun-loving pup has a gentle love for kids and people, combined with a playful passion for toys, water, and a good round of chase. At home, she’s a sweet and affectionate companion who loves cuddles and will happily curl up on the couch when invited.
Take a look at her in action then come back to read more! https://youtu.be/CyRYPsQvFdw
Daisy has been lucky to wait for her forever home in a bustling foster family, complete with kids aged 2, 11, and 13, along with plenty of neighborhood children who adore her. She’s become quite the local celebrity—imagine kids knocking on your door to ask if Daisy can come out to play! Her foster family calls her a “social butterfly” and notes how warmly she welcomes guests, exuding friendly energy. She’s gentle and mindful with kids, unfazed by the typical noise and chaos of family life. On top of being family-friendly and playful, Daisy is both crate- and house-trained. She’s also a great car rider, often curling up for a nap after hopping in all by herself.
Daisy doesn’t just love people; she enjoys the company of other dogs too and is quick to show her playful side. When passing dogs on walks, she may occasionally let out a friendly bark—a clear “hello” or playful invitation—but she’s easily redirected and continues walking without issue. Daisy thrives with a moderately playful dog, isn’t too pushy, who matches her energy, whether for a game of chase or simply relaxing together in the sun.
At 8-10 months old and weighing 30 lbs, Daisy is in the tail end of her puppy days. She still has some growing and learning to do but is highly treat-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. She’s fairly active and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs. Kids who want a playful canine companion would be a bonus (she loves playing fetch!) As for feline friends, we observed her interactions with a confident, dog-savvy orange cat. While curious, she didn’t escalate beyond playful sniffing. Proper introductions—or a home without cats—would be best. Another dog in the household would help keep her entertained and active.
If you love hikes, waterfront adventures, or backyard games, Daisy is your girl. Her basic leash skills are coming along, and with a little practice, she’ll be the perfect walking and hiking buddy. Daisy is ready to bring her playful, loving spirit to a forever home. If you’re looking for a joyful, social, and adventure-ready companion, apply today!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
