My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fyre! Fyre is a lively and lovable mixed-breed dog who fills every moment with energy and joy. True to her fiery name, she's always ready for action, whether it's a run in the park or a game of fetch. But her favorite activity? Being showered with pets! Once you start petting Fyre, prepare for a commitment-her irresistible charm will have you hooked. With her playful spirit and endless enthusiasm, Fyre brings warmth and happiness to everyone she meets. Fyre has been in a home with another dog, cats, and children. Apply at ghhs.org.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
