Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
LOYAL AND LOVING
Meow! My name is Amigo. My estimated date of birth is 11/17/2020. I am one of the cats that was abandoned in a plastic tote in front of the rescue. Due to this traumatic event in my life, I am cautious when first meeting new people and take my time getting to know you. Once I have been petted by you a few times and spoken to gently and kindly, I will begin to let my guard down and enjoy your pets and company. I was given my name by the staff member who helped me that morning. I jumped out of the tote before she was finished taking off all of the tape. I could tell she was very worried, but kind, and I chose to befriend her and let her pick me up and put me in an intake cage to keep me safe while she finished helping my friends. I am becoming more and more trusting as time goes on but would do best in a calm household with a patient adopter. I LOVE my wet food and it is something I look forward to every day. I also like the lowest spot on my back and behind my ears scratched. So, what do you think? Could we be amigos?
Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts!
