My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My Foster wrote: Does your home have shelves of fragile heirlooms? Are you a collector of choochkies and memorabilia? Do you have a habit of leaving half full beverages on the nightstand? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, this is NOT your cat! Papaya aka Bowie has spent the better part of the fall cage-bound healing from major surgery on his leg. Fast forward to now: he is a healthy playful kitten in a grown cat's body making up for lost time! If he comes home with you be assured that no surface will go uninvestigated, no toy will be ignored, and no opportunity to test the laws of gravity will be missed! This is a cat with such side splitting antics, he could mesmerize a social media algorithm! Thankfully when the zoomies subside, he has a docile side. He loves a good snuggle and will talk you up with his sweet chirps and purrs. He'll even tolerate being scooped up for little hug. We believe that he will do well in any home with limited breakables and lots of love.

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.
