My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Piper!**

This fun-loving boy is on the lookout for his forever home! Piper is incredibly friendly and will reward you with huge purrs! He’s outgoing and always ready for a cuddle or to be picked up. Piper loves being carried around or sitting on your shoulder, making him the perfect companion for those who enjoy a snuggly friend.

Piper's favorite pastime includes playing with toys and chasing around his cat condo, where he can show off his playful side. He gets along well with adult cats and has even won over his foster home’s oldest male cat, who usually keeps to himself. We believe Piper would thrive in a family environment, though he has never been around dogs. Piper will need to be in a home with a playful kitty friend or he would get very lonely.

This sweet kitty is sure to bring a lot of joy and love into your home!

**Medical Information:**
- Piper is neutered and microchipped.
- Tested for FIV and FeLV.
- Started on his FVRCP vaccine series (administered every three weeks until he is 5 months old while in our rescue).
- Flea treated and dewormed.
- Too young for a rabies vaccine.

**Adoption Fee:** $250! If you’re ready to welcome this affectionate boy into your heart and home, don’t hesitate to reach out! 🐾💖

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
