My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Ronnie and Nessie, the adorable tortie sisters ready to find their forever home! 🌟

These lovely girls are estimated to be around 2 years old and have been lovingly cared for. They are both spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on their RCP and rabies vaccines. Plus, they’ve been flea treated and dewormed, so they’re all set to join your family!

Ronnie and Nessie are special sisters who recently completed an incredible journey of motherhood together. They both welcomed their kittens within days of each other and raised them side by side, even sharing nursing duties! Now that their little ones are weaned, fixed, and ready for their own homes, it’s time for Ronnie and Nessie to shine as the queens they truly are—kitten-free and ready to be spoiled!

Ronnie is the more outgoing of the two, quickly warming up to new friends, while Nessie takes a bit more time to feel comfortable. However, once they do, both girls are incredibly sweet and enjoy cuddles, petting, and lap time. Their favorite activities include lounging in their window perch to watch the world go by and playing with their beloved stuffed catnip toys.

**Ideal Home:** Ronnie and Nessie would thrive in a home where they can be the only pets, receiving all the love and attention they deserve. A home that can provide them with plenty of window seats and spoil them with churro treats would be purr-fect!

Their adoption fee as a pair is $300. If you’re ready to welcome these two sweet torties into your heart and home, don’t hesitate to reach out! 🐱💖

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
