Meet Lucy, a sweet and affectionate girl who's ready to bring joy into your home! Lucy is full of curious energy and loves to play—especially with toys that she can jump up to catch. When playtime winds down, she’ll happily curl up on your lap for snuggles, purring contentedly as she enjoys head scratches and belly rubs.

Lucy has a lovely, independent nature and can entertain herself throughout the day, but she’s also very affectionate and loves attention when it’s time to relax. She has gotten along well with other cats in the past, showing her friendly and warm demeanor.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
