Introducing Falcon! A curious and personable little 7 month old Tortie, she was worked her way into the hearts of Paws and Claws volunteers in record time. Falcon has a very sophisticated way about her, she moves gracefully and always thinks carefully about her next move. There is an intelligence behind her eyes that she uses to make humans fall in love with her, and to get as many pets as possible!

Falcon enjoys the company of other felines but can take a little bit to feel comfortable with them. Could Falcon be the family addition you're looking for? We think so!

We have worked hard to make our adoption process as easy as possible. We like to think of the process in four steps: application, phone conversation, meet and greet and adoption day. We will get back to applicants within a few days even if they were not chosen.

All of our animals are in foster homes. To meet an animal please fill out our adoption application and we will get back to you to schedule a meet and greet if it seems it could be a good fit.

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
