Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi from Ms. Stellina, which means little star in Italian ⭐️
Ms. Stellina is a 1 year old bernedoodle surrendered to us from a commercial breeder. She is around 32 lbs. She is a shy and sweet girl. She is learning what it is to be a loved dog. She has started playing with balls and will bring one chew toy into her crate. She is still timid with the squeaker toys. Everyday she learns a little more about being a loved dog and she gets a little braver and more comfortable.
She is housebroken and will bark to go outside when she needs to go, but regression is common in new environments. She is crate trained and has really come to love her crate. She is co-existing with 6 other dogs. She has become snuggle buddy with my 8 year old cavalier. She would benefit from another dog around to continue to show her how to be a dog. A fenced in yard is a must as she is considered a flight risk. She does excellent on walks and loves treats 😊 and has a wonderful appetite.
She needs love, patience and to feel safe as she continues to learn how to be a dog that lives in a house with a family. She does well in the car and at this time needs to be lifted.
Stellina is UTD on vaccines and spayed. She is being fostered in Hatboro, PA.

Who We Are:
Zoe's House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare group based out of Sinking Spring,PA. We are comprised solely of volunteers that generously volunteer their time, their homes and their hearts. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected or abandoned animals from high kill shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them. We provide the animals with loving foster care, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until we are able to pair them with compatible and loving forever homes. At times we also offer permanent sanctuary to those with special or medical needs and that are considered unadoptable.
Zoe's House serves as a resource to our community and to our adopters by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training, nutrition, puppy mill awareness, heartworm preventative and breed education. Our organization also networks with other shelters and rescues. We try to assist other organizations when possible.
Zoe’s House is not federally funded, and relies solely on donations to continue to rescue. Although we are not breed specific, the need to save Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Pitbulls is ever growing; therefore, we have focused primarily on saving the lives of our beloved and majestic strong breeds.
What We do:
There are many people involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of each dog we take in. Our rescue effort starts with the initial intake request for a dog. Whether this be at a shelter of from an individual in the community, we try to gather as much information as we can. We then pickup or transport the dog to safety in rescue. At this time we administer immediate veterinary care to determine the health of the dog and ensure the animal has proper immunizations. We also have bloodwork done for a heartworm check, lyme, fecal and sometimes a blood panel depending on the age and health of the dog. The dog remains in "in-home" foster care and becomes a part of the fosters family for an undefined period of time. We evaluate the dog and work on basic manners and obedience. At times we have dogs for a longer duration due to health and/or age. The dogs in our care come with us to adoption events, home screenings, and ultimately permanent placement. Zoe's House then provides post-adoption follow-up and support and welcomes the new family to the "Zoe's House Family!" We strive to stay in close contact with all of our adopters to ensure the transition and life long relationship continues to be magical. We remain dedicated to the principal that we never want one of our rescues to end up in a shelter or in a home that does not provide a responsible and loving environment for the life of the animal.
We truly believe that one dog at a time... we are making a difference!
