Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I had quite the adventure getting here! I arrived at HSSV with a broken leg and pelvis. It took two months for me to heal. As you can imagine, I am a little shy of new people and places. I may be shy but once you start to pet me I will purr and relax. My foster mom says I am really sweet, playful and she found me sleeping with her on her bed. Sshhh don't tell her I have been doing it for days. I would enjoy a quiet home where I can relax, get to know you and enjoy looking out the window. I lived in a foster home with adult cats and kittens so I can go to a home that already has cats. I am afraid of dogs so a home with dogs is probably not the right fit. If you would like to meet me, come down to HSSV. I look forward to meeting you!

Established in 1929, Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) offers quality adoptions, affordable spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping services, pet care services and education programs to enhance the human-animal bond. HSSV operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are the first organization in the country to meet the guidelines put forth by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians for standards of care for shelter animals: We are the first model shelter.

We are also the first animal community center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
