Just like her namesake from How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup is a whole lot of heart in a tiny body. She's a little bit shy and a little bit mischievous -- have you ever heard of napkin confetti? Once she's made herself at home, Hiccup's bouncy cuddles and kisses have been known to win her new friends. When she's really comfortable, she'll grab a bone and curl up in your lap, content to hunker down and keep you company for a while.
Hiccup has lived with two different small dogs, and does well with thoughtful introductions to other pups. She has been known to steal bones from her doggo pals to bring back to her den (an open crate), and we'd recommend that any home with resident pets be mindful of managing the treat and toy stockpiles. Hiccup is still working on potty training, and we think that with a little patience and positive reinforcement, she'll make great strides.
Please email adoptions@phillypaws.org or apply here to cross the species aisle and make Hiccup your new best friend. She's the perfect companion for braving this big world!
