Meet Alley, the four-legged bundle of joy who’s always ready for her next adventure! Alley loves taking walks and soaking up all the sights and smells along the way. Her wagging tail and eager pace will make any walk feel extra special.

Alley is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Her playful spirit will brighten anyone’s day, and her friendly demeanor makes her a favorite among her canine companions.
Alley also has her manners down pat—especially when there’s a treat involved! She’ll sit patiently with her tail wagging, waiting for her reward, showing off her smarts and eagerness to please.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
