My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I`m Chex! Life`s a game and I`m always ready to play. My days are filled with fun and curiosity, each moment an adventure. I love exploring new toys and games, always eager to learn. I`m full of energy, bounding around with joy. But, don`t worry, I also know when it`s time to relax and enjoy a good belly rub. I`m a loyal friend, always there to brighten your day with my playful antics. If you`re looking for a companion who will keep you active, make you laugh, and be by your side through thick and thin, I`m your guy. Adopt me and let`s start our adventure together!

Borrow-A-Buddy Testimonial: Spending the day with Chex was such a treat! He was a little shy at first, but once he realized he was safe, he truly thrived. We spent the day meeting new people, dogs, and children. In every situation, Chex was eager to say hello and only showed affection—never any signs of aggression. He zigzagged on the leash, but who can blame him? There was so much to see and do! We noticed a significant improvement in his leash skills during the short time we were together, so he’s clearly a fast learner. He doesn`t pull strongly, making it very manageable. While he enjoys treats, I wouldn’t say he’s overly treat-motivated; he did well eating around other dogs and people. Chex is learning what it means to be loved and cared for, so he will need help with commands like `sit` and `lay,` as well as assistance when encountering new experiences, such as getting in the car, which was very new to him. Throughout our time together, Chex had no accidents, even though it was only a few hours. Overall, I believe Chex would thrive with just about any family—whether they have small kids, older kids, or even a single adult. He’s a big teddy bear who loves his people and simply wants someone he can trust to give him pets and attention.
