In a kingdom not so far away, there lived a mighty little lion named Sunrise. Well, maybe not a real lion—he was a kitten, with the fluffiest orange-and-white fur and a heart ten times his size. Sunrise was no ordinary kitten; he was a hero in the making, who bravely fought through a terrible storm (or, as we call it, a nasty kitten cold) and spent weeks in a solitary tower, growing stronger and more spirited every day.
Emerging from his tower, Sunrise was ready for adventure! But, having been on his own for so long, he developed a hint of “Single Kitten Syndrome,” meaning he sometimes forgets his strength and playfully gives gentle love bites. Luckily, he’s now attending “Kitten School” with other kittens to master the fine art of gentle play. He’s learning that not everyone wants to play lion king, and he’s becoming quite the scholar in kitten etiquette!
Sunrise’s bravery is unmatched. While other kittens flee from the dreaded, roaring “vacuum dragon,” Sunrise stands his ground, seeing it as a playful beast to chase and conquer. When he meets the giant, fluffy “forest creatures” called dogs, he thinks they’re just oversized pals for endless games of chase.
With a heart as big as his appetite, even a small sore on his tongue (from a magical potion, or vaccine) doesn’t slow him down. He eagerly feasts on both wet and dry food, happily proclaiming that nothing will come between him and his meal.
After his classes and epic play sessions, he’ll give a gentle “mew” to call for his humans, ready for a warm cuddle. So, if you’re looking for a playful, quirky prince with a touch of lion spirit, Sunrise is ready to bring his big heart—and endless adventures—into your fairy tale.
Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.
This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
