My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Forrest is an amazingly smart boy who has a bag of tricks that will rival the best magician in Vegas! He will be the star of the show at all family gatherings showing off 10-15 tricks from pointing at him and he will raise his paws, to saying bang and playing dead and many more!

He is about 3.5 years old and weighs between 45-50lbs. He is said to be dog and kid friendly but cats are unknown. He enjoys the praise and applause as he performs!

Forrest arrived into rescue heartworm positive and has now received treatment and will just need 30 days of 'quiet' time for recovery.

We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!

Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!

Our adoption fee is $ 300.00 , unless otherwise noted in the pet's description. A completed Adoption Application is required prior to meeting an animal. Vet references will be checked, and then an appointment may be scheduled to meet the pet.

Magnificent Mutt is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, hope and a safe sanctuary to our animals in need. They transport, foster, feed and train our many animals. The volunteers give their time and love to the dogs so the dogs learn that humans do indeed care. Not all volunteers foster; their are many other areas where help is needed such as: organizing/running adoption and fundraising events, writing/creating flyers, and other various marketing efforts. We work as a team, and use all of our skills to benefit the animals and the organization.
