Kiko is a 6-month-old, 12lb Terrier/Chihuahua mix.
Kiko is a little bundle of energy that just LOVES everyone. He bounces with excitement when someone comes around and loves to settle into your lap for some snuggles and belly scratches! Kiko is a very smart little boy who picks up on commands quicky and loves being rewarded with treats and is doing really well learning his house manners. He is crate trained, good on a leash and already knows how to sit, his foster mom says he learned that trick in just one day! Even though Kiko loves kids, we think he'd be best in a home without kids that are too small only because of his puppy energy and he may jump up a bit right now. He has typical puppy energy and would be best in a home with a fenced yard so he can romp around to his hearts content, and even better would be someone who could take him on adventures! If Kiko seems like the pup you've been waiting for, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org.
Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
