My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pepe, a senior dog with a heart full of love. His days are spent in the shelter, where he`s known for his friendly and mellow nature. He`s the kind of dog who enjoys a good nap in a cozy corner, but he`s always ready for a gentle walk or a quiet play session. He has a special affinity for adults, making him the perfect companion for a calm, adult-only home. With Pepe, you can expect a loyal friend who will offer unwavering companionship. His age has only made him wiser and more loving. The best part about adopting Pepe? You`ll be giving this deserving senior a chance at a peaceful and loving home where he can spend his golden years. So why not open your heart and home to Pepe?

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
