I adopted Heaven from a high kill shelter on the day she was to be euthanized even though I knew the chances of her getting along with my dog were slim. My dog is somewhat reactive . She was found as a stray and lived in the shelter 2 months.
I've had her 2 weeks. We could tell right away the dogs were not compatible so she lives downstairs and my wife spends the night down there with her. We both swap off being with each dog so she isn't alone or kenneled all day .
She gets along great with every human we introduced her to. We did not introduce her to children. We never had the chance. The only dog we introduced her to is mine and it didn't go well.
She is a sweet sweet girl and loves to cuddle.
I believe she should go to a home with an experienced adult and be the only pet . Possibly a fenced yard.
The adoption fee can be negotiated depending on your plans for training.
