My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Project Dog" -- Seeking new home for Mac with experienced and patient owner

Mac is a sweet and playful, 3.5-year-old Boxer mix who I rescued two years ago from the Arizona Humane Society. He’s been my best friend and brings so much joy to my life—he’s goofy, lovable, and full of personality. It breaks my heart to say that I need to find him a new home, but after some recent events, it is a difficult decision I have to make.

While Mac is an incredible dog, he’s not a fan of cats or other dogs. Just last week, a stray cat got into our backyard, and Mac managed to get a hold of it before we could intervene. Thankfully, the cat was able to escape, but this incident has made it clear that I can’t keep him in a household with my two cats. The cats and Mac are separated by different floors of the house, but I can’t risk another situation like this happening. That being said, the ideal situation for Mac would be a home with no other pets.

Message me for more details on Mac's unique needs.
