What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nemo is an 11 month old rescue from the PSPCA. He is a very loving dog that enjoys playing tug of war, training/learning new tricks, and napping on the couch with his owners. He is highly food motivated and eager to earn treats. He is crate trained and house trained and will ring a bell to let you know he needs to go.
Nemo is not a fan of other dogs, and is reactive if they get too close. He can often be redirected with a leash pop and treats, and he is working on getting better at ignoring other pups.
His current home is in a dense neighborhood in Philly with many other dogs, which has been stressful for him. We are looking to re-home him to a quieter neighborhood where he is less likely to encounter other dogs, and to experienced owners that will understand and work on his behavior problems.
Our limited experience with professional trainers has been very promising, and we believe that he will thrive under the right conditions.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
