My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This incredibly friendly cat is the mom of six kittens that have all been recently adopted. She is a brown tortie with uniquely gorgeous coloring. A sweetheart from the beginning, she absolutely loves pets and is always asking her foster family for some head pats/scritches. She loves to hangout near her human companions. Her favorite spots are on a window ledge or a comfy chair nearby and she will happily spend some time in her human’s lap. She is very trusting and has been happy to get help raising her babies, but always the attentive mama loved to curl up with her babies to cuddle them. Mummy gets along great with other cats and kittens and is even interested in still being playful. Mummy is the perfect cat for anyone looking for lots of sweet cuddles and pets all day long!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
