Hi, I’m Silly Gilly - my foster family calls me SG! I’m a very sweet, tiny gal looking for my family. Here’s a few things you should know about me. I LOVE laps. So much, in fact, that I play a game that my foster mom calls “the floor is lava” when I’m sitting on someone’s lap purring. I will do everything I can to readjust myself without falling off of a lap and touching the floor. I will purr in a lap for as long as you’ll have me! Next, I came from our Community Cat Program, so I was pretty nervous adjusting to the house cat life. But after spending some time here, I’ve realize that I love being a house cat - and humans are not so bad! I can still sometimes get startled by sudden movements or sounds, but it doesn’t take me long to get my purrs going again. Being suddenly picked up or having a face in my face (when it’s not my decision to headbutt you) can make me scared. I’m hoping I can find a family that understands I’m still adjusting to being a house kitty and have some boundaries that need to be respected as I continue to come out of my shell. I have spent time with my step-cat and step-dog (residents of my foster home) and I love them! I try really hard to snuggle with my step-cat, and would love a sibling to live with and teach me the ways of being an inside kitty. I tolerate my step-dog too, even though he’s huge, goofy and gentle, it may take me a little extra time to warm up to an energetic dog.
If I sound like the purfect addition to your family, or if you have any questions about me, please contact the shelter! I can’t wait to meet you!
