My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Remi, aka Remington. Just kidding he’s just Remi. This perfect gentleman lives up to his bow tie, he is a very respectful kitty who is the only one of his siblings that listens when they’re told no while on a destructive adventure.

Remi is happiest when he's wrestling and zooming around with his two brothers and his sister. Or when he's cuddling with his sister, who almost looks like his twin! He is a little more reserved when it comes to pets but we promise you he wants them. The second he sees Roonie and Rufus getting pets, he will move them out of the way from some.

He currently resides in a foster home with all three of his siblings and we believe he would do best being adopted with one of them (most likely his sister Rory) or into a home with a welcoming playful cat. Remi has not met a dog while in foster, but we suspect he would do okay with a cat-savvy pup with proper introduction. He could likely warm up to respectful kiddos as well.

Remi is almost four months old and ready for his forever home. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please apply for him (and a littermate?) today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
