Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Burgher, the only female tabby in the Lawrenceville Crew, is named after the Burgher’s Brewing Company and she's as soft as one of their potato rolls! She is Little Miss Independent and surprisingly fairly laid back for a kitten. She is generally content to do her own thing, but she also loves to visit her foster parents for pets and affection. She plays well with her siblings but is often found watching the chaos from a high perch instead of joining in the fray (though she can wrestle with the best of them when the mood takes her).
Burgher is very patient with her siblings (even when Walter bites her toes) and we think she would do well in a variety of households, given the necessary time to adjust. She could likely adjust to a home with respectful kiddos, cat-savvy dogs, and would thrive best with another kitty playmate around her age.
Burgher, along with the rest of the Lawrenceville crew, is participating in our robust foster kitten training program - which means she routinely is held, gets her paws touched, hears the hand vacuum, participates in brushing, has her nails clipped, her ears cleaned, her face washed and practices safe belly patting (could it truly not be a trap?!). She’s well adjusted and ready to conquer new challenges in her forever home!
Burgher is approximately four months old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for her (and a littermate?) today!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
