Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, I’m Teddy! I’m a big, fluffy 7-year-old poodle who’s been through some ups and downs, but now, thanks to my foster family at Fuzzy Pawz, I’m finally feeling like a happy, healthy pup again. Life was a bit scary for a while, with lots of moving around and some lonely times. I wasn’t getting enough food, and I was stuck in a crate for way too long. But all of that is behind me now—I’m all about love, cuddles, and finding my very own forever family!
Now that I’m with Fuzzy Pawz, I’ve filled out to my proper weight, my coat is getting fluffier, and my tail never stops wagging! I’m finally feeling like myself. My foster parents say I’m one of the friendliest dogs they’ve ever met—I just love people and can’t get enough of being close to them. I follow my foster mom and dad around like their little shadow, and yes, I might be 60 pounds, but if you give me a chance, I’ll gladly curl up in your lap like a little lap dog. Cuddles are my favorite, and I have lots of snuggles to give!
My favorite things? Well, besides people, of course, I’m all about meals, treats, car rides, walks, and fetch. I can go from being super relaxed indoors to full-on running and fetching mode outside. Having a yard where I can zoom around is a dream, but I’m also happy with long walks to burn off my energy.
Sometimes, when I’m left alone, I get a little anxious—I think it’s because of my past. My foster family has been helping me feel safe in my crate, and I’m learning! I just need someone who understands that I’m working on it and will give me lots of love while I get there. I also have a strong urge to chase little animals, so I’d do best in a home without cats. Other dogs, especially older ones, are fine with me, as long as they are respectful of my personal space.
So if you’re looking for a cuddle bug who’ll love you with his whole heart, then I think I might be the one for you! I can’t wait to find my forever family and share all my love, snuggles, and joy with them. Hope to meet you soon!

More about this rescue
We are a group of animal lovers banded together to rescue unwanted dogs and cats that are in shelters and pounds located throughout Idaho. Our non-profit rescue places each animal into our foster home program while we search for forever homes for them. We supply all vet care, food, toys, bedding; really anything they need while in our care.
We focus on those animals that are considered “hard to adopt” for various reasons; like kennel stress, having a black coat, being over 8 years old, etc. Often a foster home rather than a shelter environment helps give many of these animals a second chance at the life they deserve!
We relay on community donations and individuals willing to be foster care givers in order to continue our work.
