Blue Skies is an affectionate and sweet girl who was found as a stray dog in Philly. She is now available for adoption and foster at ACCT Philly. You can meet him any day from 10am-6pm. Interested fosters should email foster@acctphilly.org.

Blue Skies was very easy for leashing! She greeted me with a loose body at the front of her kennel. She loves to stop to explore all the smells on her walk, but doesn’t pull at all and walks nicely on leash. Very easy for handling- took pets for me all over and gave me kisses. Loves pets and very affectionate!! She doesn’t seem very interested in treats and has no idea how to take them lol but it’s all very gentle. She just seemed thoroughly confused as to what to do when I offered a treat. She chases toys, but didn’t seem to fetch them back. Most interested in me- very easy overall!

In kennel Blue was lying down. The handler called to her and she popped up and came to the front very wiggly and loose, allowing the handler to easily leash her and exited without any issues.

HANDLING:
In the room Blue was friendly and social with all handlers. She could be a bit jumpy when excited but overall had great manners and was easy to handle. She would solicit attention often from all handlers and would lean in and try to climb into our laps. She had no interest in treats while out, just wanted to get attention and play!

Interest but no possession
