My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aspen was abandoned on the side of the road when he was two months old & picked up by family. The shelter couldn’t locate the original family & we opted to adopt him at the end of September 2023. We performed genetic testing that we can forward to the new owner & he is 50% great Pyrenees, 35% Australian cattle dog, & a smattering of other breeds. We socialized him early & often & he does fine at dog parks. He has been living with an 11-year-old, extremely docile chow chow. A large number of times, he has transferred aggression from anxiety to attacking her. He gets most anxious from any front door activity. Most recently, I walked out the front door to rake leaves & about 30 seconds later I heard barking & yelping. He’s a handsome, smart dog who loves attention & trained not to get on beds and sofas. Bday~ 8/4/23. ~105lbs. He brilliantly adheres to boundaries. You can sit outside & let him roam around & he will not stray more than a few feet from your property. Good guard dog.
