My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riz is what we guess to be a beagle/lab mix puppy with a name as charismatic as her personality. If you ask the 3-year-old in her foster home, though, she goes by Ball-and honestly, it suits her playful, bouncy spirit perfectly!

This sweetheart is the full package. Food-motivated and eager to please, Riz is a dream when it comes to training. She's people-oriented and will happily be your constant shadow, whether you're out exploring or snuggling on the couch. And let's not forget her signature move: the classic beagle head tilt that will absolutely melt your heart!

Riz is great with kids, loves other dogs, and has even met a cat. She's currently mastering crate training and potty training, making great progress on both fronts.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and endlessly charming companion, Riz (or Ball!) is ready to bring her boundless joy and cuddles to your home. Don't you want to make this adorable pup part of your family?

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
