My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hellloooo! My name is Underdog and I want to be your hero! I was found in front of a house near a park here in town. The homeowner asked his neighbors if any one had ever seen me before or knew anything about me, but all of the neighbors said "no!" He figured the best thing to do was bring me to the shelter to wait for my owners to claim me. No one ever came and I am now up for adoption. I am an year old beagle mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm positive. The shelter will be arranging for me to start my treatment. I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am so ready to move into my new home! By the way if you have a cape I could borrow that would be great! I seemed to have lost mine somewhere along the way and you know heroes! We need our capes!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
