Howdy! I'm Monty and I bet you have never seen such a handsome guy in your life! Right? I don't know exactly how it happened, but I seemed to have lost my family somewhere along the way. I was actually picked up "homeless" from a neighborhood in town. After spending my required amount of days at the shelter I am now ready for adoption. I am a two-year-old terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. If you are looking for a good-looking fellow to put in your family Christmas cards this year, well here I am!!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
