Hi, my name is Maddie and I am a pretty Terrier/Poodle mix about 1-1/2 years old, 33 lbs, and I was another pregnant stray dog roaming around San Antonio Texas. I was taken in by a veterinary clinic, had my puppies, and they were all adopted locally, but since nobody adopted me, 4 Little Paws Rescue offered to help. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet a wonderful family somewhere in the Northeast.
I am a very calm & friendly girl, shy at first but overall I’m a lovebug! I get along with dogs and cats but people are my main focus. I love snuggles and kisses, pets and tummy rubs, watching TV beside you and I enjoy playing with my doggy toys. When I play with my toys I am very calm about it, not the type of dog who runs through the house causing mischief. I’m well-behaved and, rarely bark, don't dig or jump fences or chew on your belongings. I’m housebroken, crate trained, love going for walks, and excited to go for a ride in the car. I’m lovely, and everyone who knows me agrees! My future looks bright, so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
