Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Amber! I came to Smittens with my mom, Opal, and siblings, Zircon and Amethyst. We were rescued from a parked trailer on a large lot. My siblings and I had lived there our whole lives. We had care takers there until a nice rescuer kept us for a few weeks before coming to Smittens. I am an adventurous kitten and will climb if I get the chance! I enjoy the tops of cat trees and puzzle toys. I will snuggle at times but can also be independent. I enjoy pets and cheek scratches. Looking to find my forever home!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
