My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boots is a courtesty post for his owner. Boots is a sweet, affectionate dog. I adopted him from a shelter when he was young. He lived in a van and traveled all over the country for the past few years with me and my other dog Axel. In the past 2 years as he gotten older, he has started to become more territorial with my other dog Axel. With kids entering my life, I am really struggling to keep them both in the house and feel safe with the kids around. I've worked with a local trainer to help understand his triggers, and more than happy to help financially support anyone that wants to continue training. He is great on a leash, house trained, not destructive at all, and well trained outside. He is really relaxed in a single dog home and prefers to snooze in bed all day or in the sun. Boots is 4 years old and weighs 65 lbs.

More about this rescue

Circle 2 Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused and abandoned animals. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue animals in need, providing them with loving care, and placing them in well-matched, carefully screened permanent homes. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and horses where they are at risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, left abused, alone and homeless. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. We assist animals in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
