Bear is a sweet-natured 4-year-old ebony male feline, named for his deep, protective nature, reminiscent of a gentle bear. Having been abandoned with no known history and arriving with injuries, Bear has shown remarkable resilience during his stay at the shelter. As a timid fellow, he finds solace in quiet, secluded spots, often burrowing under blankets or nesting deeply in boxes. Despite his shyness, Bear warms up with cheek scritches and gradually seeks more attention as he becomes comfortable with familiar faces. He gets along well with most cats and has a hearty appetite for wet food and kitty treats. Bear enjoys the comforting sounds of being read or sung to, creating a soothing environment for him. He's looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and continue to blossom at his own pace, showing the true sweetness of his 'bear' heart.
