Cobbler is a 4 month old Maltese  x Miniature Poodle puppy ready to sweeten your life from the minute you meet her! Cobbler was surrendered to a shelter with her two siblings before arriving at DPS. They were extremely dirty and matted when we first saw them, and we knew we had to help. We don’t know their past, but we quickly got them baths and much-needed haircuts and got them feeling like a million bucks! Cobbler weighs around 10 pounds currently so she will stay on the smaller side. Cobbler is an option for homes with allergies, but interested homes should be prepared to discuss grooming and coat maintenance. Ready for the sweetest, cutest treat? Order up some Cobbler!

Cobbler is a playful gal who can’t wait to experience all the amazing activities the world has in store for her. When she first arrived, she was a little nervous, but we slowly saw her blossom and now she loves zooming after dogs with her tail wagging. Cobbler’s favorite activity is playing tag in the yard, or scampering after you in the house as you go about your day. Cobbler has a lot of puppy energy and she cycles through the zooming/napping cycle like the best of puppies. She is a huge cuddler when she’s given the chance and would love to find the comfiest spot on your lap or the couch to curl up on and snooze a few fall hours away. Cobbler would just love a huge backyard or a family that takes her places where she can explore. She has so much excitement about the world around her and we know she deserves the very best life ahead of her. This little princess deserves being the center of attention in her forever home and we know her forever family will show her the world!

Cobbler wakes up between 6-7 AM for a potty break and then heads back into her pen for a few more minutes of sleep. She gets breakfast around 8 AM and grazes at it throughout the morning. She spends a few morning hours playing outside and getting her socialization on. She joins her foster mom at work and she loves watching the world happen around her. She eats dinner around 6 PM and spends a few more hours getting her zoomies out. She goes out for one more potty and then goes to bed between 10-11 PM.

Cobbler lives with a large dog who she loves to play with. She would thrive with a canine companion in her forever home as it’s helped build her confidence. Cobbler’s forever home will need to continue building her confidence and training skills, as she wasn’t given the original building blocks in her original home. This lovely gal can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with her forever family!

Cobbler is ONLY AN OPTION for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Homes without dog experience will not be considered. Kids should be over the age of 9.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
