Hi! My name is Keeley and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own!
I am 8 mths old and I've been at the shelter since November 13th.
I am a gorgeous little lady who can be a little nervous meeting new people. Don't worry it wont take me too long to warm up with a few gentle pets! I am more of an independent gal who will come to you for the attention. As far as energy goes, I am pretty mellow but I do get my zoomies from time to time. I don't play with toys much but I will pick them up and toss them around when I get really excited. I am just a sweet gal who is looking for a forever home!
My ideal home would be very patient and knowledgeable about my breed. I came from a home with very little structure, so I will need a lot of help with the basics. I do know how to sit but that's about it for right now. I need work on leash skills, jumping and potty training. I am super treat motivated so training should be a breeze! I have done good with other dogs in my home and at the shelter, staff are unsure how I would do with cats.
If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.
KEELEY'S ADOPTION FEE: $425 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Keeley and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 20.3 Age: 0yrs 8mths 1wks

Animal Allies has variable adoption fees. A higher adoption fee does not mean that we value a particular animal over another; it is simply a matter of supply and demand. Animals that are in higher demand and are adopted quickly have higher adoption fees, which then create a financial legacy for the animals that stay in our care for a longer period of time.
CAT ADOPTION FEES
Cat and kitten fees range from $25 to $255. Please see the individual pet descriptions for detailed adoption fees and information. Feline adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal exam, and feline leukemia/FIV testing.
DOG ADOPTION FEES
The adoption fees for dogs and puppies range from $75 to $525. Please see the animal descriptions for individual adoption fees. Fees for dogs are based on a number of factors such as age, size, breed, or temperament. Canine adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal exam, flea and tick treatments, and heartworm testing.
Animal Allies accepts cash, money orders, and VISA/MC/Discover. Adoption fees are subject to a Duluth sales tax rate of 8.875%. As a convenience for Duluth residents we are able to assist with your license application at the time of adoption. The City of Duluth pet licenses are available for $12.50 per year. Hermantown licenses are available at the time of adoption for a $12 fee. License fees are in addition to adoption fees.
