INTRODUCING STEWART!
Stewart is a 5 month old chihuahua blend that is eagerly awaiting his furever home through PAWS Rescue inc.

Hi, I’m Stewart!
Are you looking for an outgoing, playful buddy? That’s me! I’m the life of the party—always ready to play, explore, and make new friends.

I’ve got a lot of talents, or so I’ve been told. My foster human says I’d be amazing at agility, barn hunt, lure coursing, search and rescue, and maybe even bird-dog training. The other day, I struck a perfect point on a squirrel, and they couldn’t stop talking about it!

I get along great with dogs of all sizes—big, small, or in between—but I’d really love to have a playful companion in my forever home. Playing is my favorite thing, and I’m always up for a good romp.

I’m house-trained, though I know a new home means I’ll need a little time to adjust to new rules. I’m also crate-trained, so when my foster human leaves or it’s bedtime, I’m happy to hang out in my crate with a good bone and some tunes. (Country-western is the vibe around here, but I’m open to trying new genres!)

I promise I’m ready to be the best dog I can be for you, and my foster human even offered to help my new family if I need a little extra guidance. I can’t wait to find my forever home—maybe it’s with you?

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!

PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.

Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.

Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
